Lansio Adroddiad: Adroddiad Cysgodol Cymdeithas Sifil Cymru ar Weithredu Confensiwn y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau Pobl Anabl yng Nghymru

The words Civil Society Shadow Report on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Disabled People (UNCRDP) in Wales in white writing on a blurred mixed green and orange background

Mae adroddiad wedi’i ryddhau heddiw ar weithredu hawliau anabledd yng Nghymru.

Ysgrifennwyd yr adroddiad, a gynhaliwyd gan Anabledd Cymru, i lywio adolygiad Pwyllgor y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau Pobl Anabl i weithrediad Confensiwn y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau Pobl Anabl yn y DU.

Dywedodd pobl anabl o bob rhan o Gymru wrth Anabledd Cymru, er bod deddfwriaeth hawliau anabledd wedi’i rhoi ar waith yng Nghymru, yn aml nid yw’n cael ei gweithredu’n effeithiol neu mai cyfyngedig yw ei heffaith ar eu bywydau.

Soniodd pobl anabl yng Nghymru hefyd am bryderon ynghylch hiliaeth sefydliadol, mynediad gwael at dai addas ac anhawster i gael mynediad at wasanaethau gofal iechyd penodol y gallent fod eu hangen.

Ledled y DU, roedd llawer o bobl anabl y siaradwyd â nhw yn rhoi’r bai yn uniongyrchol ar bolisïau budd-daliadau San Steffan am rai o’r materion mwyaf sy’n effeithio ar hawliau pobl anabl, megis lefelau uchel o dlodi.

Cynhaliwyd yr adroddiad fel rhan o glymblaid gyda sefydliadau pobl anabl ar draws y DU.
