Focus groups – accessible housing

What are your experiences of applying for accessible social housing?

Invitation to focus groups

Disability Wales on behalf of Tai Pawb and Gwent Regional Partnership Board, would like to hear your experiences of applying for accessible social housing.

We want to hear from: disabled people, older people and families with disabled children who:

∙ live in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport or Torfaen

∙ have been allocated an accessible social housing property in the last 5 years (2014-2019)

OR

∙ are currently on a waiting list for an accessible social housing property.

Please come along to one of our informal focus groups and share your experiences. Refreshments and a light lunch will be available. Travel expenses will be reimbursed for those attending.

Do let us know in advance if you have any access requirements, for example – BSL Interpretation; accessible parking and/or require a hearing loop.

You have a choice of two focus groups to attend – one being held in Caerphilly 17th January 10-12 and the other in Newport 24th January 10-12.  Please register your place through Eventbrite, links below or contact Disability Wales on 029 20887325 / info@disabilitywales.org
